This issue may have pre-existed my upgrade from XP Pro to Vista Ultimate but I don't remember encountering it. Every once in a while my PC will just pause. Nothing seems to be going on at all. Then after 5-10 seconds I will hear what sounds like a hard drive

What exactly is a Vista monitor driver going to do for me? Dell has a vista driver for my monitor but my monitor is working just fine. What will this driver do for me that I don't already have? Please pardon the stupid question but I just don't have any idea on this.
