I got a new ATI Randon 9600 Pro card with a Vista Certified tag on it. I just
reformated my HDD and reinstalled Vista on it. I let the computer rate my
system, and it rated my "Support for Windows Aero" a 5.4. So I went to go
enable Aero. After I did, my screen started flickering ...

I have question regarding Kernel-WHEA (EventID 12) error log which seems to
appear everytime Windows boots up.
I am currently running Windows Vista Ultimate x64 on AMD Opteron 280 box

I have a SONY DCR-TRV14E and when i plug the camera into a Visat system, it
is not recognized and can't find the drivers to make it running under Windows
Vista.

I have an MSS 200 Gb that works fine with all Windows XP SP2
computers. My new Vista Ultimate PC recognizes, reads, writes, copies,
deletes files in the MSS no problem, except I cannot delete any
folders in the drive unless they are empty first. What gives?

I find that the DVD-R media (disc) get scratched very easy
and quickly become unusable.  Is there a spray, a solvent
or anything if any that can be applied to the disc to make
them more durable.  i.e. some sort of lacker.

I have 3 internal hdd's.  Two Western Digital 500gb drives and one
Maxtor 400gb drive.  All three are SATA II.  I just realized my BIOS are
setup to run them as IDE.  Should I be running them on SATA through the
BIOS?  Is there a speed difference between running them on IDE settings

I have a 15-1 memory card reader on and HP M7330N. Since I upgraded to
Ultimate 64bit, the SD card reader is extremely slow reading or writing.  I
have tried several different sizes and brands with no change.  Any ideas??  I
hear there is a hotfix for this issue, but I have yet ...

The Problem:
When I connect a usb device or just the usb cord into the front panel often
the screen immediately goes blank (says no signal) and then the computer
shuts down in 10 seconds or so.
