Okay, I am currently using XP and I can't get my speakers to work.  They are
plugged in, have power, but the computer can't detect them.  I don't have the
install discs for either my sound card or speakers.  What can I do besides

I have Vista Home Premium 32. I have 8GB of RAM in my MB. My BIOS is showing
8GB of Ram but when I go into Windows it is showing in Device Manager only

Is it true that your computer's hardware have to high end enough to use a
certain Vista OS: Vista Basic, Vista Premium...?  I read that some systems
can only run with Vista Basic, and if you put Premium on that system, it
