Got a weird one. Maybe a Ctrl button stuck but need to ask.

I'm trying to get the power management on my computer to work.  I set it as
a power user with the monitors powering down in 20 minutes.  The monitors
never power down.
Is there some kind of diagnostic tool or FAQ that I can check on this issue?

My friend gave me his computer, and it has installed Windows Vista.
What do I have to do in order to get the entire configuration, especially
the Brand and Model of the Motherboard, because I want to install a Video
Card ( a Ge Force), and probably a Sound Card too.

1600 MHz FSB support. My current cpu is a 1333 MHz one, and my rams are
DDR-2 667, which means 1333 mhz. So my FSB:DRAM ratio is 1:1.
