When replying to a post the original post usually shows up with a ">" symbol
and if more then one reply in that thread they have an extra ">" in them. eg

I am operating on Windows Vista, and have recently switched over to Windows

I opened an email in Windows Mail, then cancelled some junkmail & deleted
items and when I tried to open the email I had previously read it showed
"Message could not be displayed". The message also says it may be due to low
memory or disk space but there is plenty of both.

There is a serious bug in the "Windows Mail" that is inside Vista.
After reading a message and the icon changes to the Open Mail icon, I merely
leave the inbox folder and go to another part of the program, such as news
servers or deleted, trash, etc....I go back and the messages ...

I am trying to send emails from my webmail account using a public hotel
access point. I can receive emails fine but get the following error on

Error Messge appears in the text part of each email:
Message could not be displayed
Windows Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this

Does Windows Mail not predict recipient's name when you type it into a
message like OE did? Can I switch that option on?
Also, (and I know others have raised this but can't see a definitive answer)
why can't I show my contacts as: Lastname, Firstname - like I used to in my

Up until the other day, clicking links in e-mail using Windows Mail
opened a tab in Outlook Express (V7).  Now they do not work.  This
happened to me with Windows XP and Outlook Express and I found a
solution that was posted on the Internet.

the message I receive when I push the send receive button. I can send e-mail
but not receive.
