Hotmail recently announced that they are changing the protocol that will make it incompatible with Outlook Express. There is a new mail client called 'Windows Live Mail' that addresses this. I installed it on my XP Pro machine and it works pretty nicely.

I can't drag and drop messages from one newsgroup to another using Windows Mail - I used to do this with Outlook Express and it was a great tool. Am I missing something in WM that will allow me to do this? Thanks,

'nough is 'nough. We've had it and are going back to XP. Sad being this frustrated and disappointed. I've been using Windows Mail during these last two painful weeks. Is there a way to export email now accumulated in Windows Mail, over to Outlook Express?

the left column of windows mail just show received elements. the others one are ( received, archives, sent,..)are only visible only after calllling each of them separately.

I have added windows mail to the command bar in internet explorer..when I click the icon windows mail will not always open on top and I have to click the small boxes in the taskbar.how can I get it to open on top? Thanks
