Is there a way of getting rid of windows mail, and using outlook express in

there are a number of things in windows mail I cannot stand, in particular I
use the calendar a lot

I plug in my E-mail account but it doesn't allow me to be identified with my
new password or to my computer. My Norton security needs me to get into my
E-mail account too.
