hi, everybody seems to be having the same problems in windows mail, so my
question is when will microsoft release the patch to fix the problems.
1. Auto complete only works when it feels like it.
2. Cant delete contacts.

When I attempt to open Windows Mail for the first time each day the splash
screen appears and then, 9 times out of 10, my computer freezes. This only
happens the first time each day. It opens instantly for the remainder of the
day.

Using Windows Mail with Vista unable to set up connection to gmail server..
Always get error message, #OX800CCCOE . I am pretty sure that incoming pop3
server should be:   pop.gmail.com and outgoing is smtp.gmail.com. Could this

Hi, When i send an attachment to people they can't open them. I've got vista
when the others havn't. It's the same the other way as well i can't open some
attachments people send me. Its mainly spreadsheets that are the problem,

I have tried to send vcf and excel spreadsheets from work email to my windows
mail but no luck.  The file size of the mail shows it's there - e.g. 56 kb,
but I can't access the attachment.  When I send it to my hotmail account,
it's there.  Other attachments have come through, ...

After i hit send any email goes to the outbox and remains there even if
i hit send/receive. I can only send the email if i close windows mail
completely and re open it. I can receive mail at any stage. Please

In windows mail, my email messages get deleted from my inbox when switching
folders or exiting and entering windows mail. I'm on Vista. My options look

In my previous Outlook I  was able to arrange my emails by clicking VIEW,
ARRANGE BY, and then checking BY EMAIL ACCOUNT.  This option doesn't appear
available with my new Windows Mail, so our two accounts receive mail as one.  
Please advise on how I can separate them.  Thank you ...
