I'm having a problem trying to modify pictures.  They are located on a second
hard drive.  It seems Vista has marked every file and folder on my other
Hardrive (both partitions) as "read only".  Even if I un-check "read only" I

Blank screen with sound.  No icon on .mov files.
These are movies from my Kodak EasyShare camera.
I installed the standalone version 7.1 Quicktime.
Compatibility change just gives me a pop-up screen that says the program is

When I play a QuickTime video or movie under Vista Beta 2 Build 5384, I only
get sound, but NO image at all. The screen is entirely black nd blank :(
QuickTime 7.1 installed.
Any ideas ?

Whilst using a BDA TV player, it failed to work reporting "Invalid Class", on
further investigation, I found an invalid entry in the "ActiveMovie Filter
Categories" Classes, which when fixed resolves the BDA software problem.
The reg entry in question is:
