I am using Windows Vista Build 5536 on Virtual PC 2004 and there seems to be
no driver for audio. Has a smarty figured this out yet?

Neither xvid or divx is ok with 5552.
In the media centre, any mpeg4-asp avi library of any size will crash
eshell.exe repeatably.
Also, why oh why, is the media centre library not cached!!!! MS! Please pay

I've recently got the Vista beta2 DVD, and installed it.. It's great, and the

I got the XBOX 360 to find the Media Center PC and vice versa pretty easy. I
let the extender search and find all my music on my media drive, but
something is wrong because my album count on the Media Center PC is 1,972,
but on the extender the album count is only 1,905. I even ...

WMP11 has aquired a VidZone icon beside sync is there any way to remove this?
I have restricted levels in WMP but the icon just appeared and is linked to
videos which I don't want access to. I have made sure not to add the service
but the icon still appears.

When using my keyboard the keyboard to adjust the system volume, the green
overlay reminds me of my 1989 Aiwa 14" TV.
Surely you can come up with something a little more 'Aero' ?

Just noticed that i have managed to post the same message about 5 times.
Acorrding to microsoft's web based newsgroup management, every time that I
posted a message, it failed with an error, leading to me trying to post it
again.

I have a problem with Vista and my XBox360. My console cant't show the
pictures files from my PC.In Windows Media Player Library Sharing all Medias
types and all ratings is selected.

I recently installed Vista Beta 2 on my laptop.  Originally, it was xp and
came with the intervideo WinDVD DVD player/decoder.  I tried pulling the
decoder driver off of my windows xp restore CD's but it won't work in Vista.  
Is there any way I can make my driver work in Vista ...

In build 5472 (July CTP), I bring up a group of pictures. I am fixing
redeye, and when I right-arrow off the picture, each time it says
"Changes to this picture have not been saved because an original cannot
be created".

I encoded some video off my Sony DV camcorder using Vista Windows Movie
maker. The video plays on Vista but when I copied it to an XP system it
didn't play presumably because its using a new codec. Will this codec be
available for XP / WMP10?
