I just upgraded to Windows Vista RC1 from XP SP2 and I keep getting a denied
access message when trying to access the My Music file.  I've followed the
onscreen messages to change the security settings but with no luck.  I don't
have any problems accessing My Documents, Pictures, ...

When trying to print pics from Photo Gallery nothing happens. When I look at
the printer queue there is nothing there!
Is this a known issue? Paint Shop Pro 9 prints ok.

I´m trying to use Cyberlink Power DVD (version.6 and 7) to watch DVDs, but
I´ve got a black screen instead the video and audio only. The funny is that
if I use Media Center I´ve got the video but no audio (I know there is a bug
with audio codec if you are using AMD XP cpus). But ...

I am using Vista RC1 Build 5728.  I have a V-Box Digital HDTV tuner
connected by USB.  Media Center Guide will find all the main digital
channels in the area, but only the MAIN digital channel of each
station.  All the local digital stations here have at least 2 channels

I just installed Vista 5728 and I noticed this. It didnt happen RC1 or any
other betas before that... What do ya'll think is causing it?

Anyone else have flawless video but no sound in the new MC? All I hear is a
ticking every few seconds.

Anyone have any luck installing video codecs such as XVID, DIVX, etc., on
Vista RC1?  Similar to Media Center 2005, the codecs will install and operate
fine under Media Player 11 from the normal shell, but are not recognized by
media player within Media Center.

Where does the WMP library reside in VistaRC1?
If my library is corrupt, can I rename the library to create a new one in
VistaRC1?
Is there a better way to accomplish this?

I'm getting crazy, I have try every single  most popular music players and
none will work, they work fine untill the second song for some reason the
program freezes, i have to say that the worst one is wmp11, just to mention
the ones that i have try, winamp, musicmatch,  nero ...

The DVD video playback is sluggish and bad quality in WMP and worse in media
center. Only in full screen mode, though, when I reduce the window size to
smth like 640X400 (not sure about the exact numbers) pixels it works fine. I
am using 1920X1200 resolution on my 24" widescreen ...

I burned a movie to DVD and they always turn out good with XP but I just
burned one on Vista RC1 and the audio is really off.  The program I used
before (Easy Media Creator) is no longer compatible with Vista,  some of my
conversion software like Convert X to DVD doesn't even ...

Got new Phillips MP3 player.  Uses Windows Media Player to transfer(synch).  
Bought album from Buynow.com and went to transfer to player and get error
code C00D2772 which MS cannot seem to identify or tell me how to fix.  
Windows explorer won't transfer either.  What am I doing ...
