After installing a "critical update' from windows update for ATI Radeon X1300
series graphics card, Aero has gone haywire for me.  EXTREMELY SLOW
PERFORMANCE-LAGGING LIKE CRAZY!!!
I have Visiontek X1300 PCI (not PCI Express!!) 256 MB GDDR2 Graphics card.  

Whenever I try to play music from media center I am told that an important
componant is not currently available so what do I do?

I've got an odd problem. I have two PCs running Vista. Both operated WMP
perfectly yesterday. Neither will run it today. Nothing's changed in my
setup, on either box.
To clarify: Windows plays videos activated through a Web browser. However,

I attempted to transfer pics from my Nokia phone via PC Suite. When I pasted
them in the Pictures folder, no files appeared. Anyone has any idea?

I have RTM version of Vista - whenever I try to import an Divx/AVI file - it crashes and kicks me out.  RC2 did as well and I have tried 2 machines at home and a high end Dell at work - all three fail on different Divx files.

just installed vista 2 days ago. Since then, I can not watch any divx file
with window media eve I had installed codec already. Any one know why and how

With Windows XP I was able to output music to my 5.1 speakers connected to
my computer AND to the SPDIF audio out at the same time.  I piped the SPDIF
to my audio receiver in another room.  Both would output at the same time.

the Vista O/S, and the application software supplied in box doesn't support
Vista.
Doesn't know where I can get Vista compatible software from?

I have found that recorded tv files from media center is no longer supported
in Nero 7. When adding files in Nero Vision 4 the dvr-ms file format is no
