My Computer has a subscore of 3.0 (the minimum requirement for Windows
SlideShow) yet I cannot access the full collection of themes. Does anyone
know if there is a minimum requirement above 3.0 to access the full scope of
themes?

I seem to recall that in Beta versions of Vista, you could tell Media Player
to sync files on a PocketPCs memory card, instead of the built in memory.  
However, I can not find this option on the Retail version?  How do you tell
Media Player to download files to a PocketPCs memory ...

I have 3000 songs on my harddrive. The media library in windows xp sp2 index
all those mp3 files automatically for me after I put in the monitoring path
in the setting menu. But the media library doesn't index my songs even I
have put in the correct monitoring path. It works fine ...

Is it possible to change the thumbnails of video files. (AVI) It looks like
by default the thumbnail thaty is displayed is the first frame of the video.  
Is there any type of change where you can possibly say to display frame xxxx

hi i've got a t-mobile mda compact iii (aka htc p3300). i cannot get wmp11
under vista to see the sd memory card to sync to. anyone else having this
trouble - i can sync perfectly with wmp11 and xp..... curious!

I have windows vista ultimate. My sound works great (I have a creative
audigy 2 gamer zx and logitech 6.1 speakers) during normal use, and while
playing videos and music in media player. However, when I play media in media
center, the sound skips, and the speakers make a popping ...

So, i have lots of avis/mpgs/etc on my harddrive. Someone on here helped me
wiht the pics part. But all the videos only show icons taht say avi file, mpg
file, etc.
Yet, in XP, it would show a thumb of the video. Does anyone know if vista

windows movie maker and the movie program that came with my video camera

I'm a little frustrated that I can't use an extender with Vista. I don't use
XBox and don't plan to, but I would like to use an extender for my media
playback. Why hasn't this been addressed and when can I expect to see an

I am running Windows Vista Business (32bit, clean install) and have serious
problems with sounds.

I use to be download music from myspace, where they would allow you to
download from their page, but now when I download it it goes to Windows media
Player, and won't download it, but just play it and option to buy it???

I recently purchased a pc with Windows Vista and the WMP11.  I was able to
search for music in folders etc, but now it won't save music I play with WMP
nor will it let me delete any.  I recently deleted music from the folder I
save it in and although WMP recognizes it's not there ...
