Whenever I play anything in media player from MP3s to DVDs, it's really choppy, even if media player is the only thing running. I may not have a supercomputer, but I'm pretty confident that Vista x64 + playing music can't be more demanding than recent games like Half-Life 2, etc ...

My video thumbnails for mpeg, WMV & AVI (Windows Media Player) files in Vista have suddenly disapeared. They showed up as thumbnails before. Now I can only see icons. No problems with thumbnails for pictures. Help needed!

Hello Windows Photo Gallery does not see any of my pictures. I have pictures in a folder called pictures under the admin account. I have lots of pictures on my c: drive but neither this program nor Picasa can locate them and import them.

i don't know if this was mentioned earlier but i'm not able to get my 5.1 sound working... whatever i do i just have 2 speakers (and subwoofer) working. i have Realtek AC'97 Audio integrated on my motherboard and it all worked

When I come to Burn my DVD I get the message "not enough storage is available to complete this operation" almost straight away. I've changed the options for the temporary file to a volume with 26GB free and tried also chopping down to one clip in Movie Maker but to no avail.
