Recently got new computer with Vista Home Basic.  Been enjoying the online
videos on You Tube and others......(no, NOT porno!)  :o)
However, there now seems to be a problem with the system.  When I clicked on
a video I wanted to see, it usually started playing right away.   Now,

Try to view pictures in Windows Media Center - cannot find any .jpg files,
only see the folders which are empty, and the few .bmp files I have. All
picture files show in Photo Gallery no problem, also OK in Dell Media Direct.
I have McAfee Security Centre and Windows Security ...

I can import music files and play them but there is no sound..
I am not having problems with videos or photos.

I've spent the last week trying to work this one out, and I have found
nothing online, or offline that can help me.
Basically, I have Windows Vista Ultimate edition, and whenever I play a DVD
everything is fine the music, the sound effects work fine, except the voices
