Recently got new computer with Vista Home Basic.  Been enjoying the online

I just bought a new lap top with Windows Vista Home Basic. While I have no
problems downloading software from CD's or playing DVD's, I cannot get Vista
to recognize pictures that have been burned to CD. The picture CD works fine
on my home PC but shows "0" files when on my lap ...

I have windows vista on my laptop and am wondering if I can download Photo
Story 3 which seems to have been designed for Windows XP.

Try to view pictures in Windows Media Center - cannot find any .jpg files,
only see the folders which are empty, and the few .bmp files I have. All
picture files show in Photo Gallery no problem, also OK in Dell Media Direct.
I have McAfee Security Centre and Windows Security ...

I can import music files and play them but there is no sound..
I am not having problems with videos or photos.
If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated.

I've spent the last week trying to work this one out, and I have found
nothing online, or offline that can help me.
Basically, I have Windows Vista Ultimate edition, and whenever I play a DVD
everything is fine the music, the sound effects work fine, except the voices

I don't know what I did but my icons are now on the right side of the screen
and taking about a fourth of the screen.
How do I get it back to normal with the icons across the bottom and afull
screen for my mail etc.?

I opened my Webcam application and for some reason it is on the far right
side of my computer and i cant see 3/4ths of it...and it wont let me move it
to the center..so basically i have no way to use it..i have tried right
clicking it and pressing move but it still wont let me. ...
