When I try to add another video clip to a DVD+RW disk it won't let me. I have to overwrite the clip that is already on. I can add to CD RWs with no problem, so why won't DVD+RWs let me do the same? I have overcome the problem by using a new DVD R disk for every video clip but ...

I know for sure the over-the-air HD channels (ABC, NBC, CBS...) are broadcasting in 1080i and have verified this with another tuner/recording program and with the tv's hd tuner... The DVR-MS files show 720x480 when I open them in windows 'media'
