Have Vista Home premium running on an HP Pavilion 2500dv.  Copied all my CDs
on to the hard disc, enjoyed the ease of acces.
Today Windows Media Player just will not start - immediate exit after click,
double click, whatever.    Boy, am I pissed.  Paid good cold cash for all

to down load camcorder vids onto my pc,transferred ok to movie maker.

it, I only have the option to publish to a cd not dvd. I try to go ahead
and publish to DVD but it will not play in the DVD player? It will play
in the computer? Please help....

I tried reading the messages to find the answer but was unable to find

Greetings, I just formatted my new computer and when i try to play a dvd
with WMP it loads the dvd and goes to a black screen and thinks for a
moment, then a windows box pops up and says that WMP has stoped working,
"we will look for a solution to this problem"

Every time I load up Movie maker, drag in a quick video (just to test),
and then hit publish it hangs on me.   I get a AppHangXProcB1 error when

I burn alot of movies on my DVD maker and they are all AVI files, the
other day i went to go burn another one and it said the file was corrupt
then i tried using another preivous file that i burned before and it
said that was corrupt as well. What can i do to burn an AVI file? or ...

Is there a way to place small (not tiny) photos on the desktop?
If you do a normal copy/paste, the photo is barely viewable.
I do not want it as a wallpaper, I just want to put a few photos on the
desktop to look at.

I have had cine films from the 1950s put onto video CD.  But the films are in
the wrong order.  I am hoping that I can edit it in movie maker and then use
DVD maker to make the film.  I can import the files that I want, but when I
play the preview I am only getting 33 seconds of ...
