I have some folders within my NAS which is visible from XP SP 2 but does not

Hello, I've got som problems getting ICS (internet connection sharing) to work.
My vista (build 5384) machine got two cards, connecting to my HTPC (XP 32bit).
ICS workts perfect if I boot XP on the vista machine.
Ipconfig reveals the IP adresses of my two cards as:

I was trying to set TCP/IP filtering options through Advanced settings of
IPv4 protocol in Vista, but I found that there is no options tab available
there.

I installed the cisco client for windows vista (4.8.01.0410).
Apparently it works, at first... it works for a couple of minutes, then the
connection seems to die completelly (no communication).
Only solution is to disconnect and reconnect vpn, then it works again for

As stated in the subject line... got 5536 installed on a Dell Latitude D620
and it loses wi-fi and the only way to get it back is to restart the PC.

I am getting the error messages  "Domain Suffix is not valid suffix" and

I updated the OS and devices.  I attempted to access my CoolMAX NAS (Network
Attached Storage) and this resulted in files showing up as nonsense or

Normally I would contact a Linux machine by typing in
smb://Ipaddress/sharename.(to vista machine)
However, the Vista machine rejects user name and password.
