I need help setting up file sharing on my network. I realize that simple file sharing is not an option and that I need to set up a username and password on the computers I want to connect to. That's the problem. How do i do this? User accounts and profiles? Or something else?

When I try to browse the net work (Domain) I only see my PC after about 2 minutes the UPnP devises appear then after about 5 minutes the other PCs/servers appear... I can access any PCs instantly using a UNC path. Does anybody know why it takes so long to populates the list?

Did anyone know how to set up networks profiles so that when you move with the laptop to another location to select the appropriate network profile? That means to set up diferent IP addresses for each location (for Ethernet, not for wireless).
