Wireless network set up OK and Vista can see 2 other XP PC's and they can see
and access the Vista PC.
Only problem is when accessing 1 of the XP PC's from Vista.  When I try this,
a 'username/password' window pops up, and I have no idea what these are.  The

PC and laptop run Vista Ultimate.  Printer is hooked up to PC's parallel
port.  Network is Laptop - wireless hub - switch - PC.  I can't print or
share files, even with firewalls turned off.
How do you get the network to see beyond the switch?  If I connect the PC to

I just have got Vista Ultimate with my new system. I have problems connecting
to my workplace through SSL. Connection drops every 5-10 minutes. My old
system with XP is still working well.

They have two new computers one computer is a DELL running XP the other is a
Dell running VISTA (the vista machine was purchased 2 days after the switch).

I have a 64-bit Ultimate machine connected to a 32-bit Home Premium machine.
I can see the 32-bit machine but not access it. Have shared the "E" drive on
the 32-bit system, where I keep all my storage. All users full access.
User name on 64-bit and 32-bit system is the same.

We have just connected a laptop to a BT Home Hub. Having made a LAN
connection, our desktop PC shows up but also another BT network named

Hi, when i plug my external wireless card into my laptop running Vista
Ultimate, it does nothing and i cannot install any other devices. When i
unplug the card it then comes up and says that it is being installed but it
