I am running two computers 1) Vista Home Premium and 2) XP Home. Both
computers run IE7 and Netscape browsers, both wired into the same network
switch with hardware firewall.

I have a Home Network with wired 2 - desktops and wifi 2 - laptops and a
network printer. One desktop is running Vista Ultimate and the rest have XP
Pro.
On the Vista desktop I got the discovery on; file and printer sharing on.

I just set up my Xbox 360 for wireless gaming and it works fine. What I am
trying to do is set up so I can stream Music, Vid and pics to the Xbox. From

and I do have Vista Premium but cannot locate Media ...

I renamed a folder on a network share that is being sync'ed with my computer
at home and now I am left with a strange looking folder on this computer.
When I try to delete this folder (it has no files on it) I get the 0x800710FE
error. I know that one way to get around this ...

I have Vista Ultimate on two machines, have enabled "offline files" and
mapped a network drive to a folder on the second computer.  When I right
click on the mapped drive, I do not see the option for "always available

1) I have a home network
2) One computer was XP and the other was Vista
3) I could not see these computers in my network places and could not share

I've been using Windows Remote Desktop on my (host) Vista Business
machine for months with no problem. Recently, it stopped working and I
can't come up with an explanation. I'll detail what I've done and what I

I have an nVidia 680i and and 8800GTX running on Vista x64, and last night I
used driver sweeper to uninstall my old video drivers to install the newest
ones from evga.com along with nHancer.  Now, I can't connect to the internet

I have finaly gotten xp and vista to network together with no trouble through
a hub/router/switch, I can see both computers from eatchother and run
programs between them no problem. The problem is i have a connection to the
internet with the vista computer but not the xp computer ...

I am trying to network a group of laptops runniing Vista Home Prem.
The users must access a shared folder on one HP laptop.
This contains the "Back end" of an access database.  Runtime MS Access and
the "Front End" are installed on all other laptops.

I have XP Pro on my HP Pavillion DV 5000 and a new HP desktop running Vista
home premium.
I set up a network between tehm but only the Desktop can access the XP
laptop. The laptop does not see the Desktop (Vista).
