I want to find a computer giving its name or IP just like I use to do in WinXP (search computer facility). The computers are in other workgroup and network (this is not a problem in WinXP).

i've noticed that when i enable Vista's firewall, my cable internet connection slows quite noticeably. It's really like a serious and continual hiccup becomes a part of my browsing experience. Disable the firewall and everything returns to normal.

Have 1 laptop running XP connect by cable to my wireless router which in turn is connected wireless to Laptop running vista. Have downloaded nesscary file needed for XP machine to network with Vista On Vista network map I can see both machines and have change suggested

I have vista64 bits home premium, and a zyxel Prestige router. Since I installed the SP1 vista loses the password for the router everytime you restart the computer. Is there any solution to this problem? All help is appreciated.

I have 2 vista machines. One is domain joined and the other is in workgroup mode. I cannot seem to map a drive from my workgroup Vista machine to my domain joined Vista machine. I can, however, map a drive from my domain joined machine to my workgroup machine.

My Vista clients are having problems when connecting to our VPN server. The connectoid created with CMAK on a 2003 server appliance is lbocking split tunneling. So the client can connect bu t cannot also browse the internet. Does anyone know of a workaroud or a fix for this

Dell E520 plugged into a Belkin N1 Vision having just done a clean install I now find I cannot access the 192.168.2.1 Belkin login and setup page. I'm using Kaspersky AV7, firewall is off and I can surf the web just cannot get to the login page, other computers around the house ...
