I've just installed beta 2 on an Acer Travelmate 8200WLMi laptop and the CPU utilisation of explorer.exe is at about 80%. The memory utilisation has gone up from 80MB to 158MB in about half an hour...

Take the fastest machine money can buy, a file larger than a couple megabytes, and the latest Notepad still craps out and seizes up. Please show me someone from Microsoft to smack for this.
