Is it normal that if you do a full backup and a restore from the Backup and Restore Center that your Windows Update history is empty and all automatic and manual Restore Points are gone? My feeling is it shouldn't be that way?

RC1 5600, 1Gig DDR Ram, Dual 64Bit 4400, SATA X2 300Gig, 512MB DDR PCI Express GForce 6600. After installing Vista my Graphics card now has 780MB Ram.? Why is my first Question, As if 512Ram was not enough.?

I can get to the desktop, and after about 1-2 mins, the mouse starts to move slowly, then it cuts out all together and I can't do a thing Pentium D 2.93GHz 512MB DDR RAM

I accidentally deleted Photo Gallery and every time I boot, Windows Installer looks for it and can't find it. Use Windows Installer so I'd like to keep it active. Is there a place I can get Photo Gallery to reinstall?

At first I thought the RC# was another name for Beta 1 and Beta 2, but now I'm not convinced. So ... I'll ask what RC1 and RC2 are. I'll assume they are versions of whatever they are.

In Windows XP my tasks were saved in C:\Windows\Tasks. I included this folder in my daily backup. Where are my tasks saved in Vista RTM? Thanks in advance.

I thought NTLDR was removed from Vista, but today I got the crappy "NTLDR is corrupt or missing. Press Ctrl-Alt-Del..." I assume this is a result of me dual-booting with XP, but I formatted the XP drive a few days ago after deciding to use Vista RC1 exclusively.

I made a clean install of vista business and xppro in two partitions on the same disk (100gb each). Vista goes nice and smooth with all the bells and whistles turned on and the fan noise is normal, ie up and down depending on the workload.
