I ran the compabality repair in Windows Vista to try and install Skype Zonet.
Now I cannot start my pc without it starting in Safe Mode.  Help please?

I know im in the wrong place but......windows xp not going well....csrss.exe
and other things so i need to uninstall xp to puy xp back on but can not
fined xp.  i can fine service pack 2 though....is the main paret of xp under

I have a laptop with windows XP on it and windows failed to load on me one
day...so now I have a new laptop because we couldn't figure out what was
wrong with it. There was no indication that the hard drive was damaged, so I
was told I could access the hard drive on my old laptop ...

Can anyone tell me why the normal standby which was available in XP.
When My media center goes in standby modus also with the S3 standby. and i
programmed something to record. it automatic start my computer and start the
recording.

I'm troubleshooting an issue where a laptop doesn't want to go into standby

How do I monitor the CPU temperature in Windows Vista? There's no CPU
temperature indicator in task manager->performance.

Honest, this is a genuine comment/question!  
In the current window for this group, I see 5 threads relating to speed or
lack thereof.  Has anyone found anything that Vista will do faster than XP
for the normal user (except deplete their checking account)?

I am trying to restore files backed up in vista, to my pc now I have
reinstalled xp but system says it cannot read files, can anyone help?
