Any instructions for overclocking an Intel Q6600 Quad CPU.
Want increase to at least 2.9mhz from 2.4mhz.
Or suggestions for a different CPU, Quad preferred

i tried a clean install of windows vista ultimate on my vista home premium

My computer was recently hacked and I had it reformatted. But,
recently I have notice numerous process running that are easting up
system resources and I am denied access when I attempt to stop them. I
am currently running windows vista. The programs that concern me are

I am having issues with my clock. It seems that everytime I close my laptop
the clock freezes in time. When it is open it also seems like it loses time.  
I have to continually update it to get the correct time but if I close my
laptop or if my internet drops the signal, it stops ...

i thought it was just not seeing any disks in the drive but now that i have
looked closer it seems that it is thinking that the recovery cd is in the
drive even though it isn't and hasn't been in for a long time, if ever. the
computer says that everything is okay and running ...

I have an HP Desktop Pavilion m8150n, Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Windows Vista
Ultimate (32), 4GB RAM, 640GB hard drive, NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS. I have
upgrade Vista with sp1.
I have been having some problems with my pc hesitating when I'm clicking on

I am having problems with Vista in that it hangs up all the time, it takes
for ever to go from one internet page to another. I have downloaded the
updates from Microsoft the past couple of days and one is going now.
I have emptied all the necessary files, cookies, temporary files ...

I have 3 systems on a domain, SBServer 2003, Vista Business SP1, and XP Pro
SP3.  There is a total of 1.2 TB of combined Internal storage.  Plenty of
room for a complete system backup.  Do I have to buy an external drive to get
the backup?

I have an alert that says that I have a corrupt file and to run the chkdsk
utility.  How?   When?  I've been using Vista since released and this is my
second issue.
