I know this is a common problem afflicting many people, especially with
various system services like svchost.exe etc. etc...
However, my CPU tends to run 100% randomly on ANY program that is
currently running or that I am trying to run.  Sometimes it calms back

I installed the updates released this week.  After doing so, Firefox3 is
crashing all the time.  Windows says it's trying to find a solution but never
offers it.  There's no specific websites causing it either, there's 20 sites
I was surfing during crashes... and counting.

When starting vista I get the usual 1st start page followed by the F1/F2 for
setup.
It then goes to the flashing bar for anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes. Then
