I got this error (print spooler(spooler):The service could not be started,
either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated
with it) also do i need to have the printer connected to my computer when i
install it?

when i install the driver throuth PnP the status is changing from ready to
driver update needed in vista. this problem is seen only if i upgrade XP to
vista. if i install vista directly this problem is not seen.

I used an AppleLaserWriter Pro 630 laser printer on a previous Windows XP
clone computer without any problem. The XP OS included printer drivers for
many of the popular LaserWriter printers (long since out of production). The

I have windows vista and the canon mp160 printer with the updated drivers
but can't print unless UAC is turned off.

Whenever I use Vista x86 Fax to send someone a fax from Word 2003 (or
anything else) all they get is a blank page with the date stamp on at the
top, and they don't get the attached doument faxed to them at all.
The document part just does not get sent, and when I am faxing a 4 ...

Just upgraded to Vista and have a new printer. I understand that the printer
isn't completely compatible with Vista...yet...but that there is a work

Under WinVista I cannot print multiple copies. I've tried this in Word,
Acrobat Reader, WordPad, Notepad, and my two HP printers (1200 and 930c). Can
anybody help, or this is one of the (many, unpleasant) surprises that Vista
had in stock for us?
