Before buying my new PC with Vista installed I did the compatibility  check
which told me that my Panasonic KX-P7100 would work with Vista.
To my disappointment it didn't, XP computers networked through my PC could
use it but my Vista couldn't and Panasonic are not releasing Vista ...

I HAVE to buy a new printer this evening.  I was leaning toward the HP 7580
due to what I need it for but I have heard that no matter how good a printer
you have, Vista will give you nightmares loading and using it.  So, what
printer won't I have problems with?

In Windows XP, I used the printer migrator program to copy printer settings
from one workstation to another. in Vista, you now use Printbrmui.exe
