Is there a way to manually force the printer que to clear?  I tried clicking
on the printer icon in the system tray and selecting the job, then clicking
cancel.  After doing this 4 times in 10 minutes I finally rebooted the PC.  
This worked, but I would rather not have to do that ...

I have a Brother MFC-8300 hooked up to my PC.  I'm running Vista Ultimate
64-bit, and XP Professional 32-bit.  The printer works just fine in XP,
prints alright and everything, however when I go to print anything from
anywhere in Vista, all I get are blank pages, even printing ...

I have Vista Home Premium 32 bit and just installed a new Lexmark x4650
all-in-one. I can print perfectly when it is connected wirelessly

recognize there is a scanner on it.  If I connect it via USB, it works.

I use LEXMARK 5650 and VISTA HOME BASIC 32 bit. After replacement of

How do you check the ink levels in your printer? Win 98SE had a window that
popped up and showed you how much ink was in each cartridge.
I am using an Epson Stylus Color 600 printer and Widows Vista Home Premium.

I have an HP Desktop PC that has had a Lexmark X3650 All-In-One (not
wireless) attached via USB for almost a year now without problem. The PC
has auto Windows Update and an HP driver update switched on.
On either 26/11/09 or 27/11/09 the PC had done a windows Update and

cannot print to my printers because they are not recognized in any program -
they are plug and play printers so when I go to control panel and printers it
will not allow me to install the printers because it says they are plug and
play and should be automatically recognized.  ...
