icon to have a superimposed Shield on it?  Also, what induces Vista to
display the Program Compatibility Assistant and state that "Windows detected

Has Vista a code injection protection? In order to protect injection of code
from another process

Where will Vista fit in with the Bell-Padilla Security Model. Will the
security be comparable to that of Unix.

I have installed Avast 4.7 Home On Vista 5381 and it seems to work upto a
point, all it's processes are running but I have no Taskbar icon, it's not
hidden, it's just not there!
Has anyone else run into this?

we have the requirement to sign an executable in order
to ba Vista-approved (whatever the official term is).
Consider me a complete newbie in this. I haven't even
sen Vista yet.
