I'm using that beta of CA antivirus. When I log in I have to do two UAC approvals to get it loaded. I know how to turn off the whole UAC kit-and-caboodle through Local Security Policy to avoid that. But I'm wondering if there's a way to leave UAC on and just eliminate those

Ok, I have a control panel applet that has a legitimate need to run as administrator. Via WMI it needs to write to settings to registry hive HKLM for an associated service. When I run it under a normal administrator account I get an 'Access Denied' error.

I was wondering if anyone has gotten Vista to work with VPN's yet. I have tried to connect to PPTP and IPSec VPN's, but NOTHING works. It doesn't even tell me why the connection failed. I look in the event viewer and there is nothing to be found...
