i have blocked startup programs and when i right click the icon, and go to
"show or remove blocked startup programs" the Software Explorer of Windows

So in Vista's ultimate wisdom, it decided that two songs a friend sent to me
through MSN are viruses. I tried to change the security setting as per the
instructions given to me but they didn't work and the songs  appear to not be

I've set up a Windows Vista standard user account for a foreign student
staying with us, and found he can access all the files on my 'C' drive. Is

i have just brought a new computer with Vista Ultimate and have had nothing

I uninstalled Norton 360. I installed AVG and when the installation
completed, there was 1 error.  The Windows Firewall was not turned on.  I can
not get the Security Center to turn on the Firewall.  It will not update the
Settings for the Firewall either.

A long winded question.
In Windows XP and 2000, one can write an application that performs a
ShellExecute with the "runas" verb to launch the Run As dialog box. I
have extended this to then automate the dialog by clicking the run as
