I have recently installed Vista Business on my XP Pro laptop.
The installation was as smooth as silk but it is taking a while to
familiarize myself with Vista - probably because I am old.

I have a problem with the security settings in IE7. Everytime I reboot my
settings change and I have to restore them.

I´m experimented problems when I try change the local timezone of my windows
vista machine. I´m at Brazil and the DST is not static every year it is
changed by president. So When I try edit it using the timexone.exe too.....
using the syntax... timezone.exe /s 02:0:1:11 02:0:3:02 ...

I have Vista 32 Premium, and I use Windows Defender for malware protection,
Avast! Home for virus protection, and Windows Firewall as my firewall.  All
of them are on 100% of the time, and I run regular scans.  I've been using
that setup for 4 or 5 months with no problem.

I'm having a problem where Vista is blocking SuperAntiSpyware during
startup.  I've tried ticking the "run as admin" box in the EXE's properties,
but no joy.  The only way to stop the blocking is to disable UAC.  How can I
reclassify SAS so Vista will allow it to startup?

I have an app that I transferred from Win XP to Win Vista.
Now the app will only work properly if opened as administrator. Can I make
this file automatically open with "run as administrator" without the
right-click and selecting run as administrator every time? In other words

Ummm . . . If I somehow managed to encrypt files (with EFS) but some
with one key and others with another key, is there an easy way to get
them all properly encypted with the same key?
