Here's my predicament... installed Vista Ultimate on my home theater PC;
installed Vista Home premium on my office computer. Both installations are
successfully activated. Now I am kicking myself for not having installed
Ultimate on my office machine... never realized how ...

I'm installing the 64 bit version of vista over the 32 bit version of XP.
I've run the upgrade adviser and it says everything is ready to go. However,
when I boot from the DVD, it loads it's components and then launches a basic
blue graphic with a pointer but doesn't show then ...

I'm in a LOOP.
I have a Windows Media Center PC (Dell 5100).  I'm trying to upgrade to
Windows Vista and am having a major problem.  Note I do not want to do a
"Clean Install" unless I must.

O.k. I will keep this as short and sweat as I can.
What I have,
Asus A8V Deluxe motherboard,
ATI Radion x1600 512mb AGP Graphics card

I recently ordered a new laptop that comes with Windows Vista Home Basic and
I was wondering if it was fine to upgrade it to Windows Vista Home Premium.  
Will this cause any trouble or problems?  Anyone know?

Has anyone managed to get this camera working under Vista? I have downloaded
the latest software from Logitech but it doesn't find the camera. Vista
install it as an unknown device. I am running Vista Ultimate.

I am performing a clean install of Vista Business on my pc.  I can partition
and format the drives without problem, however, when setup begins copying
files to the HDD to start the setup process, copying fails due to an error

There has been a lot of discussion re this topic.
I know clean is the best way - but very time consuming!
Is there concern with the Upgrade of XP Pro to Vista?
If all recommendations i.e. follow upgrade advisor, remove Norton, USB

windows messenger, when i open it and login i get this error

i have tried reinstalling it with no luck
