I have a new computer with Vista Business and are going to install HTML-Kit. To get it work it has to run "as adminitrator" in XP mode, because it isn't Vista compatible yet. Does that mean I have to use 2 logins?

I am trying to reformat the Vista HD so I can install XP Pro. I am the only user and administrator of the laptop. When I use the command prompt to reformat C: I get the message "Insufficient Privileges" and "invoke this utility running in elevated mode".

I performed a clean install of Vista and am now experiencing random system freezes that last 20-60 seconds and then the system resumes like nothing happened. The system is a Dell Dimension E520, Core 2 Duo, 1 gb RAM. Anyone know of the problem and hopefully a fix?

Here's my situation. I grew weary of waiting for the free HP "EXPRESS" upgrade to Vista and bought a retail upgrade and installed it on my laptop. Home premium, runs great. Someday soon I hope to get my "express" upgrade which I'm sure is OEM.

I have been trying to install Vista 64 Ultimate all day and i cannot do it. It ges to the bit where it looks for the HDD but never finds one. It asks for the Drivers, i don't know what it is doing. Any ideas? One of the things it says is, "if you have the install media in the drive

I will be ordering a new laptop in a couple of days. Unfortunately, it has a recovery partition on the hard disk...I HATE those. Will I be able to use my Vista OEM DVD *with* the laptop's serial number to install Vista and still be kosher?
