I am attempting to install Vista on a machine with a partitioned drive.  I
have two 60 GB drives that are using RAID to increase the read/write speed
(I forget which RAID configuration that is).  The disk was partitioned into
a 15 GB C: drive and a 100 GB D: drive both of them ...

I've just tried installing windows vista but after installing it and about
to run it for the first time, it gets into a "loop" as the comp keeps
resetting right after the "boot from CD/DVD press any key" message comes up
on bootup.

I'm trying to install Vista Ultimate x86 from the main XP partition to an
already formatted blank partition on my 2nd HDD. (Legally purchased/licence
is genuine).   I hate to admit that I have, for various reasons, done this
several times in the past with no problem whatsoever.   ...

I'll soon make the transition from XP to Vista. Until now I've always made
clean installs for all previous Windows versions because the upgrade
functionality never been that safe as the clean install.
My question now is: is the upgrade better in Vista? Or shall I make a clean

What source would I need to install Ultimate?
I got a CD downloaded through a retailer, but I want to make sure that the
img file is for ultimate as well.
There is only an enterprise.clg file within the img file.

On some programs my mouse pointer appears to have a "half moon" circle around
it particularly when the mouse is in motion...very irritating.  Never happend
in XP but happens alot in Vista.  Has anyone experienced a similar problem
and is there a fix?  Thanks!

I have 10 new machines to be used in a lab setting for students.  All have
Vista.  1.  GPO blocks contorol panel.  how do you connect to printers?
2.  Why will Office 2003 not load properly from the network?  The machines

I purchased a new computer with Vista Home Premium already installed.  None
of my hardware will run so I purchased a new full version of XP Pro.  When I
boot from the CD, Windows says that it can't detect the hard drive.  How do I

I just installed Vista Home Premium in my laptop, I get "This device cannot
find enough free resources...(code 12)" error on my video, it is an ATI
Radeon IGP320M with 128 meg shared ram. I updated my bios yet no luck.
Anyone know of a fix for this?
