i have tried everything to install my vista got new updates even upgraded my
pc everytime i try to install vista i get part way through then i get this
error WHY??? I am at my wits end the store where i got my software will not
refund as i have opened the product rather expensive ...

Since I have upgraded to Vista my computer will, on it's on, go into sleep
mode at the most annoying times. I have been all through the settings but to
no avail. I have updated the bios also but nothing.

I installed windows vista with no problems, until I removed the install CD.
Once I removed the CD and the computer boots up, I get a message saying
"Invalid system Disk" Replace Disk, and then press any key.

that EACH HAS IT'S OWN product key. They are different. 1) Can I put one (64
Bit) on one PC and the other (32 Bit) on a 2nd PC???

I have installed the vista ultimate, installed drivers for my modem, and
managed to get connected the the net.  With XP I had the mini computer pic on
the task bar showing me my connection speed and activity, with vista, none.

Well, having tried all of your suggestions (thank you!), and being no further
forward, I called Microsoft, who were quite helpful, but we just went round
in circles and ended up with the same message on the screen.  They now say I
need the XP recovery disks so that we can put XP ...

Just installed Vista and get a message that a driver can't be found for
MPU-401 Compatible MIDI Device.  I don't know to what this refers.  It says
it is from nvidia.  I have Asus A8N-E mobo with Asus Geforce 7600, both
Nvidia.  What drivers would I need and what device is this?
