After running ultimate for 3 month I can't boot. Vista repair tells me that the file fvevol.sys is corrupt. Vista repair tried to repair it several times with no success. I tried a restore point manually - still the same problem.

I recently reinstalled Windows Vista Ultimate and i encountered a weird error. I backed up all my data from the previous Vista installation onto another hdd within my system. once this was done and proceded to reinstall Windows Vista.

Is it normal that the Windows Vista Ultimate Upgrade 32 / 64 edition (labelled on the box) should only have 64 bit disks? Both discs are labelled as "anytime upgrade" with another label as saying "64 bit edition only". ONE of the discs is labelled as an "Upgrade Disc".
