Help, I currently have Vista ultimate 32, not happy with it at the moment and
want to go back to XP. I have the disks etc, but not sure how to do it. Can

well it turns out i was lured into trying the windows vista home premium
edition on my computer i previously had winows xp media center edition on my
computer well now the windows vista trial period is over and i didnt quite
like it, so im not gonna buy the product key for it, ...

I just downloaded a copy of vista business from the MSDNAA Program my
university has. A friend was telling me I can install it on two PC’s but that
sounded rather generous so I wanted to check if that is the case before I

I would like to migrate my system from one SATA disk to a RAID 5 array of
three disks.  Unfortunately, however, in the BIOS, prior to installing the
OS, Vista x64 Home Premium, I left the SATA Mode at IDE, the defulat
setting.

I bought a full version of Vista home prem. and I now want to install Vista
on a new machine. Can I just buy an upgrade for my second machine?  I would
install the full version, then install the upgrade over that.  is this

"TSSTcorpCD/DVDW-SHS182D ATA device" reads "Windows couldn´t start this

students & teachers which is XP edition onto the new laptop with windows

I'm planning an XP Home>Vista Home Premium upgrade and I'd like to verify my
upgrade plan. I verified my PC meets Vista upgrade requirements.
XP is currently installed on C: with all other programs and My Documents
installed on E:

During installation of Vista Ultimate everything works fine until the
"expanding data" step is in progress. At around 20% done it stops and the PC
tells me it has to reboot after 9-8-7 seconds.
Unfortunately this reboot does not work ("Disk read error"). The old

was online. since my internet connection is always on i assumed that my copy
activated, and let my friend install and use the same product key. now a
window pops up and says that i need to activate and ...

After doing a clean install of vista ultimate on a 20 gb hdd, i'm only
showing 5.90gb of free space, surely the os cant be 14gb, has anyone got any
ideas how to free up some space so that i can install a couple of games or
programs, or why it takes that much room? is it a bug? ...

I am using Catalyst bundled in the CD of Asus Motherboard.

I downloaded and installed the vista enterprise VHD from microsoft and am
quite impressed with its look and feel. It runs better in .5 gig of memory
than my XP VHD does. it will time out at the end of June and therein lies my
question. My company sent me a legal DVD of vista ...
