After trying to reinstall Vista OEM after a format and then not being able to reactivate ( since sorted thanks to Microsoft) I am wondering how you go about reinstalling a OEM version after things start to crash ?

Hi. I'll explain my entire story. Well, I bought the Windows Vista Upgrade. I installed it and I had no problems...until I got a virus. Windows defender said that they got rid of it, but every few days, my homepage would change into this Microsoft page

After upgrading to Windows Vista from Windows XP SP2 I noticed there's a C:\Windows\Panther directory with huge logs files and data files in a 'catalogs' subdirectory - about 1 GB. Is it safe to delete this entire directory or at least some of the files within it? Thanks, Sam

I just did a fresh install of my Win Xp Pro and then tried to install my Vista Business Upgrade and when I enter the key number I get a error message saying I have to install from my previous version of windows ??????? BTW I did activate XP pro before trying to install Vista. ...

I wish to by a HP laptop, it comes with Vista home premium. (OEM verson) Can I upgrad to Ultimate after instal? Or is it smarter to by a Ultimate verson in the shop, and not use the key that comes with the laptop? That key maybe can be uset on another computer?

I have a question.....if you buy a new computer with vista already on it do you still have to buy a CD to download/get a product key for Microsoft Office Word 2007? Or does that come with vista? Might be a "duh" question but I'm not too quick on computers....
