I tried to install Vista Home Premium. At the end of the installation i get a BSOD . The computer restarted before I could read the error. I rolled back the installation and after using eventviewer i found this errorcode:

I had a notebook computer and I want to replace a 60GB hard drive to a 120GB hard drive. Question : Do I have to erase the old hard drive that has Vista Home Basic OS on it, before I install the new hard drive with the Vista OS?

When I try to install Vista it all works fine until the last step when the computer reboots and then the installation screen says "Finishing Configuration", the hard disk stops spinning and the DVD too, I get no error messages and the "Finishing Configuration" seems to be working ...

I currently have an OEM edition of Vista Home Basic. I want to upgrade that to Home Premium. Is it possible to upgrade using an academic edition Home Premium upgrade (I'm a student) or do I have to use the Windows Anytime Upgrade thing?

Notebook: AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-50 1.60 GHz,1024 Ram,32bit Vista Home Premium Everytime I downloaded updates next restart of notebook slowdown to 15 minutes!. When Vista is loaded an opening of file takes 2 minutes. I re-installed windows severely but it never fixed.
