I updated from XPto vista now when I try to download anything it will not show up where I save it or if I just try to run it nothing happens. What is wrong here?

If you look closely you will see that C:\ProgramData\Documents is a reparse point and link to C:\Users\Public\Documents. This is not an issue as long as you do not add a another Vista boot HD as a secondary drive. Apparantly the links used to link to those folders use C:\

I've installed Windows Vista a few month ago. But after problems with some games, I want to install Windows XP in addition to my Vista, on the same hdd, but on another parition. Will the installation destroy my Vistas bootrecord?

It appears that when I try to install any app now that uses an exe it fails. Though I can install MSI's about 90% of the time. Here are some examples; I downloaded the new Video Drivers for my Dell 9300 from Dell for Vista 32bit. When I run the install it immediatly pops up

I recently purchased an OEM version of Vista and had to reinstall on my intel mac a second time. However the product key is not being accepted. Can you advise me how to get it working - its the same machine so the OEM license should apply.

Does anybody know how to use Intel VIIV on Vista? On the Intel website there is a v1.7.1 for Vista but this is an upgrade. The last complete version is v1.5 which says XP and does not say Vista. Does Vista already have this functionality and does not need it?

Need some advice: I have XP Pro, Vista32 Bit Ultimate & 64Bit Ultimate installed on 3 seperate partitions on my hard drive. When I bought it I wanted to see which Vista I'd use, and was not sure, so I installed both initially.
