I'm trying to transfer profiles from my old XP computer to my new Vista
computer.  Midway or near the end of each transfer, I keep getting a
"Migration Failed: Access Denied" message.
Any idea what setting I've got wrong on either my old XP computer old my new

premium. After installation, the computer keeps restarting instantly. Right
after the POST the computer would restart again.

Any way to remove the "Public" icon from my Vista toolbar?
Right-clicking on that icon does not offer any choice to delete it, or
even hide it for that matter.

Just installed Vista x64 Ultimate yesterday; everything is OK except that
for almost 24hours, the SearchProtocolHost, TrustedInstaller and
explorer.exe processes are active (using some 7% of my QX6700 CPU), and the
disks are trashing non-stop.

Before I purchased my copy of Vista, I ran the update advisor, which said I
was good to go. I installed the program, but when it restarts to boot into
Vista for the first time, it goes into a restart loop just after the display
with the green Knight-Riderish "progress bar" ...

I pursaced a new computer that has VISTA installed and cannot get any sound,

I am currently running Vista Home Premium 32-bit.  I've been installing
updates and other software on my computer, but at random times Vista has
frozen up on me.  At that point I have to restart my computer manually.  Is
