I am trying to do a clean install of Vista Ultimate on a new Seagate 320GB
drive. I have an Intel D875PBZ MB with a 8280ER ICH5R SATA controller. The

I had a temp *_HDD_* problem which made me install *_my_* copy of Vista
onto a temp *_hdd_*.
once this issue was solved i installed my OS onto my proper *_HDD_*.
However i discovered that i had forgot to reorder my Boot disk priority

I am having trouble with my product key.  I recently bought a new laptop and

I changed the drive routines for the keyboard to be able to use japanese
characters (to someting called USB Office-something 106/109) but then the
mouse and the keyboard froze and now I can't do anything to make it work.

Sorry folks.  I've gone back to XP.  No more messing with One Care, System
Administrator, blocked programs, hardware that won't work, software that
won't open, Vista mail that's not compatible with OE6. and the list goes on.
I know, it's a big learning curve for the faint at ...

I have tried several times to upgrade to Vista from XP.  I get a message
"Windows could not update the computer's boot configuration.  Installation
cannot proceed".  
I have tried using your suggestions to another user with the same problem

It worked fine a few hours ago. I don't know what I did but now it just does
what Alt+TAB would do in WinXP. I can't seem to find the solution in the Help
& Support... With all the improvement you'd think it'd be there.
A small problem maybe, but I really liked the Flip 3D feature ...
