I own a copy of Vista Ultimate and bought an additional license of Vista Home
Premium for use on another computer.  I did this through Microsoft over the
internet.  The hard drive in the Vista HP machine died, but I cant find the
license code to reinstall.

i recently bought a second 500GB hard dirve and upon installing it vista
would not boot. i got system disk error and it tried to boot to cd-rom
and when it did not find the system disk it asked for it. once i

My uncles business has an old machine running XP Pro SP2 OEM that simply

Hi, I'm trying to install Windows Vista x64 Business, but when the the
install gets to the completing installation part it gives me a blue
screen and then the computer restarts less than a second later.

i have done the disc clean up and defragmented files, but still my computer
holds way to much memory than my computer can handle, making everything slow,
including the internet, please help?

XP stores user data in c:\Documents & Settings\me and uses the nomenclature
"My" Documents, "My" This, and "My" that..   Vista has a more sensible
structure - storing user data in c:\Users and Music in "Music" etc..  No
more "My" this and that.  I'm glad to get away from that ...

I run vbscripts under Vista PE.
One of  my scripts needs an additional DLL to run.
Under WinPE "regsvr32 xyz.dll" doesn't work.
How can I register the DLL under WinPE?

Hi all, I have searched the forums but haven't come accross my
particular problem yet.  On a clean install of Vista x64 Home Premium,
it goes through all the way to "completing Installation" reboots, goes

Howdy, I have sbcglobal newsgroups running perfectly fine on my notebook
with xp. It runs wirelessly through the same ATT DSL router that I

I have Windows Vista Premium loaded to my PC. The language is German. I want
it to configure in English. I tried with the Recovery Disc, but I can change
the Region & keyboard to English, but not the Language. Can you suggest, How
I can select the English- Language.
