The XP computer's motherboard failed, so a new computer with vista home
premium was purchased.
Is there a tool in Vista that allows for moving programs and data from the
old disk to the new OS?

I have encountered a prolem intalling Vista Ultimate on a Intel Core 2 Duo
Board populated  with 2X 512 Mb DDR2 533MHZ ram Cards . After the intial load
when the system reboots an error comes up stating
" Cannot find /windows/system32/drivers/NTFS.sys" status 0xc0000221.

I have had some hard drive issues recently, and have therefore installed
windows several times on the same machine and activated it, while trying to
get my system running, now it says that the product key is in use, how can i
resolve this problem?

I´ve switched a few times between XP and Vista, meaning re-installing the
whole system a few times
I´ve got 2 harddisks, a primary for the system and a secondary for data

I have been getting these messages that I do not have a legitimate version of
Vista when I know 100% I do.  I have been using it for Seven months and have
not made any material hardware changes to my system (especially recently).  
Suddenly I get these messages and of course there ...
