I 've tried all the 3 methods, but it dose'nt seem to work...I have a
recovery drive on my laptop, but i cant fix it from there either. I actually
cant find the windows on any of my drives.

I just built a new computer from components obtained from Newegg
including Vista 64.  Pretty, but no drivers for a lot of my existing
hardware (printers , scanners, etc) and all the other known problems
like home networking.  Bottom line, I can't use it now, so I purchased a

I've been reading on this newsgroup a bit and noticed a lot of dual boot
issues. Now I haven't seem much on my error I'm getting while installing XP
and HP can't seem to help me on this, so here it goes..
I have 2 STATA HDD, Vista is already installed on my C:, on the D: drive I

I'm running Vista on a machine with one IDE drive and multiple SCSI
drives.  I wanted the OS on a SCSI drive, but Setup kept insisting on
putting Vista on the IDE drive.  I got around that by disconnecting
the IDE drive before trying again.  That worked: Vista is now on one

I'm trying to reinstall an OEM version of Vista Home Premium on my new
harddisk. But when I try to register it says that the licens is allready in
use (probably from my installation on my old and deleted harddisk). Is this
not possible?

ive x-fi plai have just reinstalled vista ultimate and i can not install some
updates or any adobe software and some others and i do not know and i am
hoping some of u guys can shed little light on the situation, i will post my

Master is 320Gb SATA partitioned with XP Pro on first partition and files on

I'm trying to setup the keybaord for everyone on the computer.  But When I
change the HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Keyboard Layout\Preload it does not change for
anyone.  Is there another key that I can change to have this done?  Because
with the BDD 2007 and customsettings.ini it's ...

I recently bought a brand new shiney Vista machine, I successfully migrated
my settings from my old PC but I have run into a small problem.  I have a
program that runs under DOS and will not run in windows Vista. As it worked
on my old 2000 pro PC I am trying to install 2k pro ...

Clearly something is not working properly in regards to this.  License
clearly states that I can install Vista Ultimate in a Virtual machine within
a licensed desktop.  But it would appear that someone forgot to turn this on
in the code.

I have an HP laptop with 2 HDD. It came loaded ith Vista on the C drive and
the HP Recovery on the D drive of the first HDD.
I installed XP Professional on the 1st partition on the 2nd HDD tonight and
now can no longer boot to Vista.
