i would like to install Vista to a USB device (SDHC card or thumb drive). my
computer bios is able to boot from a usb device. anybody know if this
installation can be done??

there are some bad sectors on my 160gb hdd at the beginning. i want to
remove xp and install vista. is there a way that vista can mark the bad
sectors and avoid them during installition itslef so there there are no

I had a power failure during the initial setup of a new computer (Hewlett
Packard).  Now I just get continuous message popping up during restart  that
Vista closed unexpectedly and must restart...happens on every restart.  Did
not receive a disc with the OS in the computer ...

it.  checked the upgrade advisor and computer is fine to install vista (Dell
