Does anyone know of a setting in Vista that will tell it to remember for
more than one or two reboots the view settings for an individual folder?
(This is a major way in which XP was better).

I've managed to get myself into a bit of a pickle. I used to run my
system with windows xp, at the time and still now I have to partitions.
C: was where I installed windows, and then I made D: just for backup
files and stuff. I can't recollect which partition was the primary

I give up. I read countless documents and did several Virtual Labs yet I
still can not deploy Vista using MDT. I can do this blind folded with XP.

different drives/partitions configured eg 'System' (C:), 'Programs (P:),
Files (F:) which contains 'My Documents', downloads, Setup and other files etc
